Hi,
I’ve checked online for a Bridge Timer, and found two, both free. However, they are software only, and run on a computer. I’ve put a notice on our website to see if anyone has an old PC they will donate, but no volunteers as yet. We used to have a software timer, maybe still do, but Marie didn’t like to use it…. Interfered with her use of the computer, she said. The bell was't very loud, either. Frank Jones used to have a stand alone timer, but maybe he took it with him.
The best one is the one that Lisa found, which is about $450, and although it’s expensive, I think I would be inclined to vote to buy it. No strong feelings bout it, though, as I don’t consider an occasional lateness much of a problem. Maybe we could just tell Dominique and Art they can’t play. Nah…. We need the money, and the occasional chuckle when she gets mad at him.
Anyway, I don’t have much hope of finding a suitable bridge timer without spending some money.
(Look at as an investment…. If we bought one I think it would outlast any and all of us.)

Hello Everyone,
The dates of July 11, and the second and fourth Sundays in August have been cleared with Diane and Marie, with the membership deciding on one or two dates in August. The Arcadia Center is not allowing any more booking for 2021 other than the ones they already have. I just had an idea. What about a New Year’s Party instead? That is such a lovely site and so much less preparation required on our side. Think about it and let me know if you would like me to pursue it. Thanks to you all for serving.

Hi All,
Great to see almost everyone at the game today. Only missing Mojo and Michael. I would like to write down any reactions, improvements, observations, suggestions for future and bring them to a zOOM board meeting this Wednesday at Noon. Lane does not have games on Wednesdays, so I want to hold the meetings in the daytime and hope this will work with everyone’s schedule. Mojo will set us up, so it will feel just like always. Pasadena Unit Game is resuming on Sunday, June 13, but a few changes have been made. You will definitely need areservation to play, and masks are required.
