I no longer am suggesting that the board become involved in the management of a club to replace the Bridge Center, but I want to remind all of you that one of the main purpose of the board is to promote bridge, and specifically item C in the bylaws: C. To promote the development and organization of affiliated clubs within the Unit. If Fredy can find a way to keep the Bridge Center open, the unit board should strive to help him. One way to do that is with a zero interest loan to help him with tables, chairs, etc. Roy I’ve played bridge more than half my life. The lesser half I wasted.

I strongly disagree! There are a lot of people that relay on this area for their bridge play for a lot of reasons. I am trying to help keep the Bridge Center open…. We have all played there and met many of our friends there. I hope you agree that it would be a shame to lose it if we can keep it. Would one of you, as a board member, introduce this as topic of board discussion? Time is growing short! Roy I’ve played bridge more than half my life.
