Dear Board,
Sorry for the late timing of this but we do have a meeting tonight. MoJo will send out the Zoom link today. Attached is the agenda and a revised Unit letter to go out first week of January as well as the minutes from the last meeting from Linda.
See you all tonight.
Miriam and I reconciled our lists. We currently have 24 pairs (48
people) 12 tables. Bill Martin is looking for a partner.
It's reasonable to expect that a few more will want to join in. I think
booking food for 60 would seem wise.
For those who would like to see the list: If you know your login account
on RSVPBridge, do that. Click on the "December 10" date on the calendar,
then click the "Go" button by the "Holiday Party and Royal STaC".
If you'd like to do that but need help logging in to RSVPBridge, let me
know.

It may be too late by the time you read this, but if you don't yet have
your place reserved for the *December 10 Holiday Party at Arcadia
Community Center,* it may be too late! We're having a great taco buffet,
and of course a Royal STaC game, for $30 each. Check with Miriam
Harrington to see if there are still spaces available. (626) 232-0558 or
miratpf(a)aol.com
We have to order food from the caterer a week in advance, so if you
haven't yet made your reservation, you might be able to play, but may
not have any food!
We had two nice big Unit Games in November:
November 5, at the Pasadena Bridge Club, 9 tables:
* N/S Fredy and Lulu Minter
* E/W Don Garner and Margie Lee
The November 19 game at the Arcadia Bridge Center had 13 tables, and was
a Sectional Tournament at Clubs:
* N/S Paul Nason and Diana Borgatti
* E/W Amr Elghamry and Dominique Moore
For the STaC overall results, we didn't have any big winners in the
region, but Amr and Dominique took 5th overall for region, out of 39.5
tables.
How about a *New Year's Eve party*? Not late into the evening, but a
bridge game in the afternoon, at the Pasadena Bridge Center. I'm
planning an "Eight is enough" format team game for Sunday, December 31.
After bridge, if you'd like to hang out, we can play board games maybe!
I'll have more details later. I'd love to serve wine, cheese, maybe a
mexican buffet -- truly make a party out of it.
*Bridge Basics 1 - Introduction* is starting on Wednesday evenings, with
the first class on January 10. This is shaping up to be a huge class, so
it's a good idea to get your reservation in early with PCC Extension!

Congratulations to *Robert Jennings* who became a new Sectional Master
this past month!

Sounds good to me though maybe i should just lower the number to 60 from 72. I am not sure what to do. When is this note going out?

I guess Richard will get the plasticware and plates for the desserts he’s bringing. Did you check with Mojo or Miriam to see if anyone needed a partner?

I found it. Just spoons for dessert. I not sure I am playing.
I have about 60 clear plastic cups I will bring for cider and can pick up more. I believe Sherry is getting coffee cups.
