As you may or may not know, Erik Holdo, Charo’s son has offered to host a game on Monday July 20th in honor of Charo. He will be pickingup all the card fees for that day. In addition, Lulu is coming in to teach a class in the morning and Mojo has reserved the community room for that event. We are antidcipating 19 tables of bridge for that day. We already have 9 tables one month in advance.
Mojo has asked if the Unit will pay for a Vallarta lunch for the players that day. The cost will be approximately $400. Since we do not have a Board meeting prior to this event, I am asking for your vote by email. I need Board approval for this, with a positive vote of at least 7 members to approve. Pease email back your thoughts on this ASAP so I can let Mojo know.

To me this doesn’t seem like a unit issue, seems like a business relationship between the club and Erik. Am I missing the point, how does this involve the unit?

DEAR ALL,
Attached is the Agenda for the Board meeting after the Unit game on Sunday. We should start around 4 PM.
Who has the Blue pouch with the change for the game? Mike will not be there.
I am attaching the agenda, a work sheet with direction for check in at the Unit game created by Toban, and the minutes from the last meeting. Mike do we have a financial report?

For over 26 years I have provided our unit a website, and currently a there are a little over a hundred. Logins every day.
All this time I was on the ACBL mailing list and received the monthly unit in-and-out report and I have been able to to put the names of our players who have advanced in rank, won an event, transferred in or out, etc.
For some very dumb reason, they have decided to limit that information to only board members, but they told me I should ask one of our board members to send me an email copy every month. This the second time I have asked, so now I’m frustrated.
Please, please, somebody help me out and forward your copy of the monthly in-and-out report! Please?
I have two email addresses and would appreciate a copy be sent to both.
