The Glendale Club and Santa Clarita Club have pooled their players for online games. Paula Oliveres has worked hard to make this happen. THANK YOU! This is available to anyone who has played at the Glendale Club in the past year. I'm grateful because our club alone is not large enough to make a virtual game practical.. This is our chance to play duplicate among friends. Many Santa Clarita players have played in Glendale. Having played at Santa Clarita several times, I can say they live up to their name "Friendly Bridge Club"! Please Paula's email below if you might be interested. In the new box click on ACBL Virtual Club. Search for Unit 556 or scroll down to 'VACB266882 Unit556'. Click on it. Invite your partner. (Partner must be online.) Players should be online and ready to go 10 minutes before the game. At the top of the next page will be a tab PARTNERSHIP DESK. Click on it. You can invite someone to play, or "Add your name". Once your name is listed someone can invite you to play. How to be a BBO substitute. Volunteering to be a BBO substitute costs nothing, you can volunteer to be a substitute AFTER the game has started. On the next page click on ACBL Virtual Clubs. On the next page click on RUNNING. It's a small tab near the top of the list. Click on SUBSTITUTES. It's a blue box bottom left. Check box. If needed you will get an invite message.
