Dear Board and Board to be—
It is now 20 days before the Election Party and we have a full slate of candidates for the
7 available positions on the Board. I am so grateful to each of you for stepping up to
serve our Unit.
Those standing for election are:
Don Garner
Patricia Luehrs
Gloria Rommel
Liza Billington
Doug Senor
Morris Jones
Michael Rodriques
The 5 continuing on are:
Lisa Walker
Miriam Harrington
Angela Peters
Sherry Hansen
Kathy Cresto
The terms are two years each. Because we have 7 people running for 7 positions, we do not
need to hold an election. We can accept each of you onto the Board by acclamation.
Our first Board meeting of the new Board will be on Monday March 4, 2024 at 7 PM on Zoom.
You will be sent a Zoom link that day to join in. At that meeting, we will do
organizational business such as assigning officers and committee chairs. I will be
sending you a copy of the By Laws and Standing Rules for a better explanation of what
those are.
Again, thank you all for offering to serve our Unit and bridge, especially in these
difficult times.
