Hi, Mojo,
Over a year ago my ISP, Frontier, sent out an edict that many customers had to change
their IP addresses. It was a boondoggle! Many of us lost service for weeks. Well,
partly as a consequence of that change I had another failure yesterday, and lost the
connection to all of the websites on my server. (I have over 50 sites for bridge topics!)
I am working with a tech to get it repaired, but I have no way right now of letting
anyone know what is happening. Could I ask a big favor?
Can you create a website which explains that my IP is down? If you will, I can log into
to the DNS server at
NamCheap.com and reroute the internet traffic to your site. You will
need to setup at least two different sites….
www.acblunit559.com and
www.arcadiabridgecenter.com
If you can, you will be doing a service for our entire membership!
If you add two more domains you will be doing me a personal favor, too….
www.precision.club and
www.Montreal relay.com
Once I have my system restored, I would be happy to reciprocate for your IP, in case you
ever have a shutdown. Also, this may be the beginning of the permanent transfer of the
unit website to your server.

I’ve played bridge more than half my life. The lesser half I wasted.
