Friends, John Waken subsidized our sectional for about 30 years with $1000 each year.
 After about 20 years, the unit board voted to name our sectional the John Waken Sectional
in perpetuity. Â I have no idea if records were kept, nor if anyone else remembers that,
but most likely if this becomes an issue there are members who can recall it, and I am
sure that John himself probably remembers it.  I would suggest that this not be changed…
at least until John is gone. Â However, the unit board is certainly free to rescind this
honor, and John might not mind.
