Hi,
Over 20 years ago I built our website and registered it as
ACBLunit559.com. I also
registered it as
ACBLunit559.org, so players could use either address, and also so nobody
else could hi-jack the domain name of ACBLunit559. The cost to me each year is $15.00
each. Consider it a donation to the unit, and a thank you for letting me play free in
unit games. (I am also the owner of the
www.ArcadiaBridgeCenter.com, .org and .club.)
However, after all this time, I no longer consider it important to keep the .org version
and will abandoned it unless the board decides that it should be kept. That means anyone
who wants that domain name could register it, but why would they?
Your thoughts?
Roy
I’ve played bridge more than half my life. The lesser half I wasted.
