[Unit559board] Arcadia Bridge Club - More

Hi, friends, I spoke to Diane, and she is not interested in selling the club, but will be closing the doors. She would like to sell the tables, etc. I have talked to Fredy Minter and he is interested in reopening the Bridge Center. If Fredy can secure the same location at a reasonable rent I would like to propose that the board buy the tables, etc and then give them to Fredy at a zero percent loan. I am trying to help keep the Bridge Center open…. We have all played there and met many of our friends there. I hope you agree that it would be a shame to lose it if we can keep it. Would one of you, as a board member, introduce this as topic of board discussion? Time is growing short! Roy I’ve played bridge more than half my life. The lesser half I wasted.
