Shortened game today!

Dear Pat Abbey players, I just learned from the Senior Center that we have to be out today before 2, to accommodate the staffs' annual meeting. The manager says they posted signs by a week ago though none of us apparently saw it. Thursday by 2. Sorry for the inconvenience. We will try to play "speed bridge". For those of you who need to cancel, can you please call me at 818-869-4386 or Patrick at 210-367-9869. The Center has a new supervisor, which I think explains much of these problems. I am working with the Senior Center to get a monthly schedule with advance notice for updates. Thank you for your patience! -Adam

IMPORTANT - CANCELED! NO GLENDALE UNIT GAME OR REGULAR GAME this Saturday, February 9

Dear Glendale-Verdugo Unit friends and family, Unfortunately, I just learned our venue (the Glendale Senior Center) rented out our space for this Saturday. This happens occasionally, because we play rent-free, and a large revenue-generating event can preempt us. I will work with the center to try to minimize the frequency of such cancellations, especially on Unit Game Saturdays. Sorry for any inconvenience. We will see you in March!
