2. stand by for 10 minutes and see if it appears (then re-register)
3. if it appears to be a system wide event, look for an email from me
4. an attempt will be made to restart or reschedule the game

and ready 10 minutes before start time.

Dear bridge players,
We are changing the game times slightly starting Monday so we can use The
Common Game hands.
Sunday Apr 26 499er game 1:20 pm
Monday Apr 27 open game 12:15 pm (note new time)
Tuesday Apr 28 open game 6:15 pm
Thursday Apr 30 open game 10:15 am
Friday May 1 open game 12:15 (note new time)
Sunday May 3 499er game 3:15 (note new time)
We had several pairs who were booted out of a game for which they were
registered last week. If BBO detects you as idle or offline when the game
starts, it will eject you from the game without recourse (although your
money will be refunded). To avoid that happening to you, make sure your
screen is active a couple minutes before the game starts. Move your mouse
or touchpad around and that will take care of it.
If you do not get into our game for any reason. the director
sometimes needs a fill-in pair. Message vacb266882 that you are available.
And stay on line for a few minutes after the game starts. In your message
say if you'll only play as a pair, or will split-up.
