[Unit559board] Closure

A bridge friend from the Long Beach club asked me a question concerning the closure of the Arcadia Bridge Center, and after a short discussion I decided to share it with the board. Should the board consider asking Diane if she would donate her supplies to them and the board would hire a director/manager to keep the club open? Friends, I have no opinion on this, but it was an interesting question so I wanted to share it and let you consider it. I don’t think this is a unique idea, as I believe the Laguna Woods club is run this way, and there are probably others. Roy I’ve played bridge more than half my life. The lesser half I wasted.
