This fall I'm going to repeat the two popular single-topic classes: November 14: The Stayman Convention This is sort of the "9th lesson" of Bridge I. We'll cover Stayman, the most popular bridge convention, in detail, and as a bonus have lots more hands to play than most lessons. December 12: Jacoby Transfer Bids This convention is absolutely necessary for club and tournament players. Like Stayman, it applies over 1NT opening bids, and frequently earns declarer an extra trick during the play. Both classes will be offered at Oneonta Congregational Church in South Pasadena, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., on these two Thursday evenings. Each class is $15, and space is limited -- reservations are required!
