I might not remember this accurately, but Jan might be able to verify it…. I think that  because Dr. John Waken contributed $1000 every year for more than 30 years to help fund our annual sectional there was a vote by the unit board  to name it the John Waken Sectional in perpetuity.  If this is accurate we should not forget to refer to it this way in any advertising.

I have not yet applied to reserve the Community Room for those dates. I'd like to see if it passes muster with ACBL first. It seems like a decent weekend.
