Re: Reducing the fee paid to the director:
1. Unit games are not held to make a profit, they are held by the Unit for our Bridge community.
2. If we break even that is great, if we go over, we will have those that balance.
3. Our chance to profit has always been the Sectional, and having LaSalle for many years we were very fortunate. We will need to concentrate on that as we get back to business.
4. Our budget is fine right now, and I’m sure Marie has taken a big financial hit due to COVID.
5. In my opinion, asking Marie to take less is insulting and not worth $50.00.
6. We have another Board Meeting before the Unit game, and if we need more discussion I think we should table this until then.
