To Unit 559 Board Members,
Interesting. I never said that letters should go out to all members of unit 559. However, letters or phone calls should go out to those that don't go to Mojo's, don't have computers nor email addresses or who only play on BBO. In other words,
all attempts should be made to reach every member so that they have the opportunity to opt in. It is our responsiblity as Board Members to represent all of the members. It is not always easy nor convenient to do the right thing.
As for the RANKINGS, I am requesting that Lisa send us the minutes from which leaving the rankings out of the directory was voted for.

Everyone in Unit 559has the opportunity to be included in our online directory as long as they have completed the Opt In form. the Opt In form is available at MoJo’s club and also on the website. They may include any information they would like. Phone,
Email, Address, etc. Only information they have included will be publicized. If they are playing at MoJo’s club, they have seen the OPT IN forms on the table. If they attend Unit games, it was announced multiple times. If they look at the website, the
information is there. We are not sending out letters to the whole unit on this matter.
Secondly, the Board made a decision not to include rank in the directory. Ranks change and are included monthly in lthe website listings. It is easy to find out someone’s rank by looking at the website. We do not need to have an ego contest by publishing
ranks.
Therefore, this will not be an agenda item for this next meeting.
Board, a reminder that we have a Zoom meeting on September 9th at 7 PM. Look forward to seeing you all then. An agenda will go out several days before. Looking forward to seeing you all then, getting a financial wrapup for the Sectional, as well as
planning our Over/Under game and Holiday Party.

YES, ALL MEMBERS OF THIS UNIT SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE REPRESENTED IN THE ROSTER. TO DATE, I HAVE ONLY IDENTIFIED ONE MEMBER WHO DOES NOT HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS AND THIS MEMBER HAS INFORMED ME AS WELL AS SEVERAL
OTHER MEMBERS WITH EMAIL ADDRESS NOT TO BE INCLUDED.
Also, I don't believe we voted to exclude our rankings from the roster that has been available for years. Why are they no longer there? Please include this on the agenda for our next board meeting.
MEMBERS HAVE INDICATED THAT THEY DO NOT WANT THEIR RANKING INCLUDED. ALSO, THE RANKINGS CAN BE FOUND ON THE UNIT'S WEBSITE.
