If I can get a co-chair to manage the day of then I can get volunteers to bring things. I will ask around._______________________________________________On Sat, Sep 13, 2025 at 2:37 PM Lisa Walker <lisawalkerlac@gmail.com> wrote:No budget. I can create a sign up sheet for volunteers to bring cookies. Cakes would be a hassle because you would need plates and forks. I was even wondering if Roy can post on his website that we need volunteers to provide cookies and they can email me. But I cannot attend that day so will definitely need a co-chair. Do we have any budget to buy cookies? If so, I would check Claro's on Hungtinton, etc.Laurie_______________________________________________On Sat, Sep 13, 2025 at 9:27 AM Lisa Walker <lisawalkerlac@gmail.com> wrote:That sounds good to me as long as there is someone to organize it all that day. Maybe you need a co-chair. Everything will have to be collected in the morning and then the serving stuff put out. Plates and utensils and such. And making sure we have enough!_______________________________________________Sent from my iPhoneOn Sep 13, 2025, at 3:57 AM, Laurel Silton <ljsilton@gmail.com> wrote:I can certainly ask for volunteers and get a list to make desserts. _______________________________________________For me the menu is not coming up clearly, but is there any option for perhaps offering fewer food options and reducing the cost? It doesn’t matter to me what the costs are as it seems we have the money, and if we are not spending money on gifts or a raffle we have more for food. That being said, I think adding dessert, service, tax and delivery is going to add at LEAST $15/pp before the other costs that you listed. Obviously a budget will be helpful, but my guess is that it will be more than $5/pp in the hole

Hey Board,
Looks like the food package for the Holiday party is $20.29 per person. This does not include dessert or a server or delivery. I think we can safely say this will be around $32-33 per person with tax and tip added in. The other costs are for the drinks, site rental, director and holiday decorations maybe . I will do a budget when I get home from Oregon, but I am thinking, especially since we are ordering way less food than the head count, that we could be in the hole around $5/person. That does not seem too bad, but again, I will do an updated budget when I get back.
Cheers,
Lisa
