There's also a lot of useful information governing the unit's role in the ACBL policies and governing documents here: https://acbl.org/administration/#docs

In the "codification" Chapter III A. covers Units: https://web2.acbl.org/codification/CHAPTER3A.pdf This document is probably the most important one to be aware of as a unit board member. (You might look for the part on "brings food to unit games," I couldn't find it! :) )

With the exception of the last Unit Game in March, 2023, we are covered for people to bring th snacks.  We do need someone to volunteer for that.  My feeling is that these things need to be discussed and decided by the new board.  If I heard right, Lisa said she had 13 trips planned for next year.  I’m assuming they are longer than one week.  That would mean she would be gone for 1/2 the hear.  If that’s the case, it would be hard to be a functioning board member.  Just my thoughts added to yours.

I'd like to add that I'm hoping to train or encourage someone else to direct the Unit Games, so I can give my wife a little time. No huge rush, I'll make sure they're well cared for in any case.
