Thanks so much to everyone who came out for the work party on December 17 at the Pasadena Bridge Club. Helping put together chairs and end tables for the club were Barbara Leider, Yvonne Schimmel, Liza Billington, Cory Brendel, Lisa Walker, Cardon Walker, Susan Kane, and Jon Fuhrman. January 7 will be our opening day gala. On that Saturday (as in all following) we'll have a game at 1:00 p.m. with Open Pairs plus a novice/intermediate section for 0-300 players. We had 18-1/2 tables, contributing to 131-1/2 tables in the Great Western Royal STaC game. Big winners with first in Flight B and fifth in Flight A overall were *Jack Chang* and *Zheng Zhang*. Six other pairs managed to place in the event overalls. Upcoming Unit Games will be held twice monthly at the Arcadia Bridge Center. In January our games are on the 8th and 22nd.
