Lisa and all, I will not be able to attend the meeting as I am on my way to Antarctica at the moment but I do have some thoughts on the holiday party and the Arcadia location that I would like to pre share. I I’m strongly in favor of having it at Mojos and getting the extra space there as is necessary. The Arcadia location is nice but in my opinion had declined quite a bit since last year, I thought it was filthy and in need of a good cleaning (maybe even a carpet replacement?) but I don’t see the value for the price. Secondly, it was a HUGE amount of work to move everything over there and back, and as typical the clean up crew paled in comparison. If we had no other option it would be fine, but since we do and it would prove to be more cost effective and time efficient I strongly recommend that we do it at the club. Another thought might be to serve salad and lasagna or something like what mojo did for new year’s and see if we can keep the budget down, although I did think the catering was good.
