Roy, what you're suggesting is essentially two separate games. There
is no way to fairly mix in non-Over/Under players into the same
section as the Over-Unders. It doesn't matter if they're "scored"
separately or not. If some Over/Unders have to compete against non
Over-Unders, and others don't, it's not providing a level playing
field.
If there are enough players for a three-table separate game, I'm
willing to direct it. We'll have to come up with room to put the
second section. That's a little hard to imagine at Diane's club
without the second room. We currently have ten tables.
The Over players are only by invitation, and players have to earn
that invitation by having a reputation for being pleasant at the
table and kind and gracious to their partners and opponents. We
presently have some players who only marginally meet those
requirements.
Remember that "flights" are separate sections, and "strats" are
within the same section. You used the word "flights" when I think
you meant "strats."
This is a hard "no" from me.
