It was an eventful March! The big news was that the Arcadia Bridge Club is closing after 55 years of dedication to bridge. I know it's especially disappointing for players to our east out I-210. Besides the games at the Pasadena Bridge Club (Fair Oaks & Orange Grove) there are two morning games in Glendora. (See Tom Lill's column elsewhere here!)
April will be a transition month, with Diane continuing to hold games on Friday and Saturday. The Pasadena Bridge Club has started up games on Monday and Tuesday, with plans to open Friday and Saturday games in May.
Our twice-monthly Unit Games will be held at the Pasadena Bridge Club. For months through June, at least, games will be on the first and third Sunday afternoons at 12:30. Unit games this month are April 7 and 21. Make your reservations with Miriam Harrington, (626) 232-0558 or miratpf@aol.com.
