The Longest Day "bridge marathon" is upon us!

You can see the event schedule here: https://bridgemojo.com/ppdvbc#schedule

I fully expect that some of the games, especially the early and late Open Pairs, may not draw many players. I'm going to offer them anyway! If we have three tables (or 2-1/2 plus two substitutes), we'll definitely hold a game.

The games are timed so that you could play in all of the Open games, or all of the Limited games, if you like. There should be plenty of time between the end of one game and the start of the next. There's at least an hour break mid-day as well.

Open games will be played at 6 minutes per board, limited games a 7 minutes per board. As always, if all tables finish a round before the clock reaches zero, the next round will start immediately.

Play as often as you like! If you need a partner, add your name to the Partnership Desk inside the tournament any time after T minus 2 hours before game time.

This is a crazy thing to do, no? What better time to do it? If I had been able to open the Pasadena Bridge Club this year, I was planning to do something like this at the real bridge club. Next year for sure: a full day of bridge activities to raise money for Alzheimer's. Classes, games, and party. "Next year, at the bridge club!" :)

Best regards,
Mojo
