I'll send a note about the 11:00 game tomorrow in a moment, but first I want to make sure everyone is invited to our weekly Zoom Social bridge game, Tuesday evenings at 7:00.

I have a beginning bridge class scheduled to start up on August 25, so I'm only going to get to hold three more Tuesday evening games.

I think you'd be surprised how much fun it is. I can't play, and it's still just about my favorite game of the week.

This was inspired by an article in the July Bulletin (page 16) about a group in Portland who set up a BBO game along side a Zoom meeting. Using Zoom breakout rooms, each table gets a private audio/video meeting. It's so delightful getting to see and chat with your partner and opponents. I love dropping in on the tables that have completed their round early and visiting.

It's a relaxed game, but it's still a sanctioned game, open to all players. We'll play 12 boards.

This is worth a try! Please drop me a note if you'd like to play, and if you want to play and need a partner I should be able to find you one. Open a beer or wine and come play cards, meet old friends and make new ones!
