While I have your attention, I wanted to crow about the Sunday
afternoon Open Pairs / 299er game. We had eight tables for the Open
game, and six tables for the 299er game. It's a great time to get to
play bridge with our local friends! The 299ers get to compete
together, and the Open players get extra masterpoints for the game.
We're doing this again on Wednesday afternoon with 499er pairs at
10:45, and Open Pairs at 11:00. I'm also planning to add another
Newcomer game (12 boards) on Saturday afternoon at 12:45.
I currently have 20 students taking beginning bridge, and am
actively enrolling students for 2 Over 1 Game Force on Tuesday
afternoons and a Standard bidding refresher on Sunday afternoons. I
have limited availability for semi-private lessons for groups of 4-5
players.
My last announcement: I am now a certified Online Best Practices
teacher by ACBL, and working with the education department there to
facilitate training for new online bridge teachers.
