Today through Wednesday we have games at 11:00 a.m. Come play if you can!

Thank you all for supporting our local virtual club games!

We're entering our second full week of online bridge with the Pasadena Pomona Downey VBC.

We opened three days before Silver Linings Week, and had 4 games with total of 20 tables.

During Silver Linings week, we held 11 games with a total of 125 tables.

This past week, we held 10 games with 44 tables.

I also managed to hold five student class online practice sessions this past week. I was really quite busy!

This week I'm going to drop the Friday morning game from the schedule. As long as enough people are coming to play in the other games to actually hold a game, I'll continue to hold the games.

We'll play The Common Game afternoon boards for any game that starts before noon local. After that, there's too much risk that a player may have already played the boards at an east coast club.

BBO continues to make progress with bug fixes, performance updates, and improvement. One of the most recent features is allowing the use of robot players to fill empty seats. It didn't go terribly well in early trials, and I think playing with robots in virtual club games is not likely to be popular. I'll continue trying to find human players to fill half tables and disconnected players. :)

Best regards,
Mojo
