On Wednesday and Saturdays, our newcomer games are played alongside an open game that has a fairly wide range of bridge experience.

Both games play the same hands. This enables you to compare how the two groups may have bid and played the hands differently.

Here's how to find those two results, using last night's games as an example:

You can click on the game where you played, for instance 7:15 Newcomers Pasadena Pomona Downey.

Do the same steps in another browser window (or tab), and select 7:30 Open Pasadena Pomona Downey.

You can scroll down the page and see the results from both games on each hand. You can compare opening leads. To see how any particular table bid and played the hand, click on the blue-highlighted players names. That will open a BBO "movie" of the hand that shows the bidding. You can step through the play using the "Next" button.
