Dear Glendale Bridge players,
Even with the short notice, there were some Glendale players who played
today including Margaret Shifley and her partner who came in first and
Temo. I am forwarding a message from today's director showing how to create
a convention card on BBO. Hope to see more of you next week.

Hi Unit 556 Players and friends,
When I was directing today’s game I noticed that most of you have not
created a convention card with your partner. BBO regulations require that
you have one or default to SAYC. Since most of you don’t play SAYC, at
least not without some modifications, I created this video to show you how
to create a card on BBO which can be confusing. Click on the link below to
watch the 8 ½ minute video:

Dear friends of the Pat Abbey Club,
I hope this email finds you all well and safe. I'm writing to tell you of a
new opportunity as of today . . .
The Glendale Club and Santa Clarita Club have pooled their players for
online games. Paula Oliveres has worked hard to make this happen. THANK
YOU! This is available to anyone who has played at the Glendale Club in the
past year.
I'm grateful because our club alone is not large enough to make a virtual
game practical.. This is our chance to play duplicate among friends. Many
Santa Clarita players have played in Glendale. Having played at Santa
Clarita several times, I can say they live up to their name "Friendly
Bridge Club"!
Please Paula's email below if you might be interested. The price is right
and the game lasts only two hours.
If you click "reply" your questions will go both to Paula and me. Also you
may email Paula directly at paula(a)pacbell.net
I hope this works well for all of us. I encourage you to try it. Fingers
crossed . . . before long we'll be back in our room at the Senior Center.
Warm Regards,
Adam Barron
