             I'm offering a special four-session
two-week class this month on a subject most of us need
help with, a series focused on play with excellent
bidding refreshers, and new beginning bridge classes
                soon.
All classes are offered online from the
comfort and safety of your own home. You'll want to have
a good broadband internet connection with a Windows or
Mac laptop or desktop computer. (While it's possible to
join with an iPad only, it's not recommended.) These are
not "seminars" but fully interactive classes where you
will play real bridge with other students!

            Improving Your
                Judgment — Doubles
            I'm offering this four-session
interactive class to focus on a subject many of us need
extra help with. We'll cover doubles in all sorts of
competitive bidding contexts, and practice them in live
hands. Here's a good opportunity to refine your judgment
both as the doubler and as the advancer (doubler's
                partner).

              - Four sessions, Monday and Wednesday,
                  3:00-4:30 p.m.

              - November 16, 18, 23, and 25

              - Course fee $80, plus $10 for the
                  textbook.

              - Class size limited to 16 students

            Back-to-Bridge Seminar
                Series

This is a special offering through Bridge
with the Monroes on Tuesdays starting November 10.
Our text is Play of the Hand from the ACBL
                Bridge Series.
            We'll start with a special two-session
day on Tuesday, November 10, getting into the
fundamentals of declarer play and brushing up our
                opening bids and responses.
On the following Tuesdays we'll get
deeper into declarer play with finer points and more
difficult hands. We'll also add bidding principles for
competitive bidding, conventions over notrump bids,
                strong hands, and slam bidding.
Space for this class is very limited!
Enroll through Bridge with the Monroes at this link
for their new player program. A flier with course
                details an information is available
                  at this link (PDF).
            I'm also offering ongoing beginning
bridge classes each month on Monday and Wednesday
                afternoons through Bridge
with the Monroes. If you have a friend who'd
like to learn to play bridge, starting from zero, drop
                me a note!

            Newcomer duplicate
                bridge games

We're having a great time on Wednesday
evenings and Saturday afternoons! We're playing about 90
minutes of bridge, 12 hands, at each session.
Our games are held on Bridge Base
Online at 7:15 on Wednesday, and 12:20 on Saturday.
Would you like to join in? Need a
partner? I have all the information about these games
and what you need on my web site here: https://bridgemojo.com/newcomer-invitation

Finally, please let me know if you're
not interested in getting my occasional announcements! I
never share my email lists, and I'm happy to take you
off the BridgeMojo list if you wish.
And I did finally get a haircut. But
I'm keeping it a lot longer than my headshot picture. :)

            Best regards,
