Consider a bridge
cruise!
Imagine crossing the Atlantic on a
beautiful cruise liner, on your way from Miami to
Barcelona in the spring time — marvelous food and
entertainment, and time to truly immerse yourself in
bridge at sea.
I'm joining Karol and Guy Monroe for a
14-night cruise departing Miami on April 5, 2022. The
ship is the Regent Seven Seas Splendor.
The bridge program includes a full ACBL
Silver-point Sectional at Sea, with great games and
classes to level up your bridge skills.
The available staterooms for the bridge
package are bound to go quickly with everyone eager to
get out of the house. Visit
the 2022 Miami Barcelona cruise page here for lots
more information, and to reserve your room as soon as
you can! You can also call Monroe Travel Direct at (442)
274-0221.
If that's not enough, we're doing
another cruise in October, 2022, round trip from Los
Angeles. 😁
Learn to play bridge
Nearly everyone reading this has played
some bridge, and you know what an enthralling and
fascinating game it is.
You might have friends who've said,
"I've always wanted to learn to play bridge." Pass this
along:
We're offering an Introduction to
Bridge class starting March 1, in six afternoon classes
over three weeks. This is an interactive, online, live
bridge class. I'll be your guide!
Class meets Monday and Wednesday from
1:45 - 3:45, with available practice sessions included
as well.
Check
it out here at Bridge with the Monroes. Scroll
down to Level 1 Class.
To see what it takes, technically, to
join an online bridge class, see my page How
to join bridge class online from BridgeMojo.com.
Competitive bidding
I believe the Competitive Bidding class
from Audrey Grant offers the most powerful set of tools
available for advancing club and tournament bridge
players.
I'm offering this class through PCC
Extension on Tuesday evenings starting on April 27.
Space in this class is limited and I
expect it to fill quickly! Register
through PCC Extension at this link.
Newcomer games and
weekly mini lesson
We're still busy playing and teaching
bridge online. It's going to be a while before most of
the face-to-face bridge clubs and tournaments open
again. (I'm eager for that myself!)
In the meantime, take advantage of my
weekly Saturday morning bridge mini lessons. I cover a
single topic in 15 minutes.
You can join
in person on Zoom, or have a look at previous
topics on my YouTube
channel playlist.
We also have games for newer bridge
players every Wednesday evening and Saturday afternoon.
If you'd like to join the game, contact me or join
our notification email list. I'll send a note
before every game.
What would you
like for your next class?
I have a regular series of classes
happening on Sunday afternoons at 3:00. Right now it's Improving
Your Judgement - Opening the Bidding. What would you
like me to offer next?

in the survey here and help me decide!
