Today let's work through Chapter 3 of the book, "Major Suit Opening Bids and Responses." You'll recognize the pattern from last Wednesday: We'll examine a complete hand using then "Contract Card," decide on a contract and declarer, and practice playing the hand. Then we'll study our bidding language, Standard American, and see how a partnership can arrive at the best contract for the hand.
