Then: As for tables, might Goodwill, Salvation Army or a similar non-profit organization like them as a donation to be restored and resold (or would they not believe this would be a worthwhile project?) Buying 40 of them would come to about $1200. Then they would need a place to be stored. If we put out a call, it's possible someone else would offer garage space. If we dumped these tables, we'd have to decide between buying and renting tables next year. (It might be possible to rent tables from the district. I'd have to ask Kevin Lane.) As for the board sets, I don't believe they're useful at all. They're beat up, and the cards in them are trash. I know Ed Lechner wants some. I wouldn't do anything but give them away. If we have enough machine-compatible board sets for pair games at a sectional, we also have enough for a team game. It really pains me to turn these into trash, but sadly I think that's what they are. Someone talk me out of it? Comments please? Hey Mojo, I agree with Don, let's try and donate what we can and then find that empty dumpster for the remainder of the items. I don't know if we need to be concerned about finding additional tables if we book the 2025 sectional at the Arcadia Community Center, as they provide the needed tables.
