I just spoke with Mary Falvey who informed me that Mary Downey fell in her home earlier and broke her hack. She is in Huntington Hospital Rm E532. Can the board send her flowers since she has done a lot of work non gratis for the board?

Monday meeting

Dear board, I am attaching the minutes and copy of latest bank statement since we do have financials. I am in Zlaguna and have been warned by Cox that power may be turned off on Sunday and Monday because of Santa Ana winds so if I cant get on, Richard cannrun the meeting with the agenda and these documents. Miriam and Michael, I would like to see a copy of bank financial statement for the last month. Please send this to me and the whole board. Quite frankly I think what might be nicer is something more bridge related. I love when I go to tournaments and people have their unit name tags on. Or a bridge bag customized to carry bridge things. I’m ok with the pencils with the unit on them but I have 100 pencils here. I wonder how much those name tags are. Board Meeting

Dear Board, We will need to have a meeting before the Holiday Party. Can you all be available on Monday October 30th at 7 PM for a Zoom meeting? Michael, if you have some financials, we need to see them or at least get a verbal update on what is going on. I have the minutes already from the last meeting. I have ordered the food for the taco truck and put a deposit down. We need to talk about drinks and dessert, and need volunteers to chair that. Also, we need to know what tablecloths we have and decorations we have. Michael, I think you have them in storage. Also, do we want to have a raffle or any kind of gift for the members? If so, someone needs to step up and take care of that. Please respond and let me know if you will be available for this meeting. Lisa

Will the embosser sharpen the pencils. Name tags and bags are nice. What is the cost.
