Last night Mike Savage had trouble getting the game started. He waited a few minutes, first, to allow some expected pairs to arrive who hadn't yet. (Let me know if you're not coming!) Then we had at least one player who was not logged in at game time, and it took him quite a while to turn off the switch and deregister the pair who didn't have both players logged in. He was seeking help from another online director. In the end, the game was 15 minutes late getting started, and that's unusual. I wasn't able to help out Mike -- I was in the middle of teaching a bridge class online. Mike directs the game on Tuesday evenings from his personal account, so the vacb266882 account isn't able to see messages. I'll encourage him to try and communicate better with the tournament when problems come up. Meanwhile, we do have a big Thursday game at 10:15.
